Few staff and students have reported illnesses from colds or otherwise. This has been addressed by constant reminders to both. On my own behalf as a teacher, I cannot hear the students. I do all of the reading in class so everyone can hear. My throat is constantly sore. The majority of students who were given this choice took it instead of taking a covid test. They have been out of school for 10 days. We did write last minute contracts telling students to work online. However, many students do not have access to computers at home. So in the future, if someone is infected, then it will become a mad scramble to get work together that they can actually access.
