It was my mother's first day out of her nursing home since the Covid started and it was also Mother's Day!
I got up at 9.00. Then I went to Santa Brigida's market and bought her some flowers.  After that, I went to pick her up in Las Palmas. She looked fantastic: she was wearing a hat, a black and white cardigan and beige trousers. I told her it was Mother's Day and I had a few surprises for her.
First, we walked to San Telmo's Park and there we met my middle bother, Alberto, and his three sons. My mother could remember the little ones, but she didn't recognize my eldest nephew - he is now taller than her and she said his voice was "very deep".
After that, my youngest brother, Ruyman, and his girlfriend Carolina met us. It was also his 41st birthday. We had so many things to celebrate. We took a lot of pictures and we sat on a bench and chatted while the children played.
At one o'clock we walked back to her nursing home together. My nephew Jaime helped my mother to cross the street. I thought it was a sweet gesture so I took this photo. Finally, we gave her "flying kisses" and she told us "I love you! Last Sunday was a great day, we had a special time in the church celebrating Mother's Day where we were honored. Then we went to have lunch with my family in the Canteras and after that we ate an ice cream while we watched the sunset.

      A special day for me was my first day on holiday at the beginning of the pandemic.
       I didn't travel, I went home and I stayed there all the week.  I needed it because I was stressed.  In my work everything was horrible; people were violent, I had to wear a mask,  plastic glasses and plastic gloves. 
      I thought ... What's the matter?   Is the world crazy ??

When we couldn't leave home due to the Pandemic, everything was more complicated, but now life offers us many things to enjoy.
Any day can be a great day, for example last weekend. 
On Saturday I went out with my partner to eat out and in the afternoon we went to see a play called " The things that I know are true" with the actress Verónica Forqué. We liked it a lot.
After that, we went home for dinner. We had a very good time. 
On Sunday I got up early and I went to my mother's house to spend Mother's Day with her. 
She likes cooking a lot, so we made the food together and then my children came to have lunch. 
After lunch, we all chatted until 9 at night.
My mother is always very happy when we are all together.

It was the first day we went to the beach in middle of the pandemic.
We got up very early to do housework. Then, I prepared a bag with towels and toys for the children. After that, we went to the supermarket to buy food and candies.

When we arrived to the beach, the sensation of freedom and my childen's faces were incredible.
My little daughter didn't remember how the beach was because she was one year old when the pandemic started.

My son and I played football and my daugther made her first sandcastle with my wife. At 13:00 we had some sandwiches. After that, we played trivial because it’s my favourite game, but they said “This game is very boring” hahahahha.

Finally we picked up our things and we came back home, we had a shower and we saw a film together before we went to bed.

I got up 9:00 a.m. My husband made breakfast with my children. This morning we planned to make a camping site in the living room.
After breakfast, we looked for sheets, blankets, pillows, a rope and my mattress too. 
My children were happy but wanted lights so they looked for Christmas lights downstairs for the camping site.
After that, we cooked lunch: a big salad, roast chicken, and an apple pie for dessert.
In the afternoon, we watched the first and the second part of Shrek. We stopped to take sandwiches, milk, popcorn, etc. to camping site.
Then we continued with the fourth part because we didn't like the third part of Shrek. 
From 10:00 to 12:00 we told stories to fall sleep, between jokes and laughter we fell aleep.

My first day out.

When I thought of a big day during the pandemic to tell you, my head chose a full day of laughter moments outdoor with the best company. That special day was on my birthday, last April. The day was great and my husband and I decided to go somewhere far. The weather was cloudy, but it wasn’t raining and then the sun shone. I wore pants, a T-shirt, sandals, a cup and sunglasses. We did a long trip by car to La Aldea de San Nicolás. We went through an old, narrow and dangerous road, but it was really nice and full of magic. During the trip, we saw green trees; red, yellow and white flowers; big rocks, great mountains and a dam full of water which adorned the landscape and I felt so happy. When we got to the beach first, we had lunch at about 1.15 p.m. on the pebbles with a fantastic view to the sea, then I enjoyed taking a lot of photos. After that, we went for a walk until we arrived to a stone bridge. I didn’t swim in the sea because I didn’t wear a swimsuit. Finally, it was time to go home. It was a wonderful day to remember in my life, because the most beautiful things aren’t always the most expensive.

It is a day that I will never forget. I was alone at the airport until my husband arrived and gave me a big hug.

I was with my husband and we went to a hotel to rest and we had milk with coffee, toast and cheese for breakfast together. We went out to visit Madrid, the Retiro Park, the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor, the Gran Vía and Puerta de Alcalá.

It was a great day because I felt free, happy and with a future for myself and my children. Since that day I thank God, life and the universe for those sensations that I lived and continue to live.

    This morning I got up very early and I didn't have much for breakfast.To relax I had a long and hot shower. 
    After that, I called my daughter Claudia and together we went to Las Palmas, near 7 Palmas where there is a circuit to do the exam. I took the exam and just after it they told me that I had passed it.I was very happy. 
    Then, to celebrate we went for lunch to a restaurant that my daughter loves and we had  delicious meat and a good bottle of red wine. 
    This  was really a different and special day in times of pandemic.

    Last July I had a great day, because it was the first day of the year on the beach, after a long time. 
    I got up early and I washed my face, then I went to the kitchen. There I cooked breakfast and lunch for everyone.
    After that, I woke them up and I said to my daughters... "good morning, my little stars".
    After breakfast, we put on our swimsuits and I took my family to the beach by car, because I didn't want to be late. 
    Once there, I played with my daughters, We built sand castles and another things, we enjoyed very much. 
    After playing, about 13.00, we ate the meal that I cooked in the morning. I was as hungry my daughters. 
    Then I picked things up while the girls played with the sand again. 
   In the afternoon, we returned home. There I played with my family until dinner time. 
   After that, the children went to bed and I watched TV for one hour more or less, because I was really tired, then I went to bed too. 
   It was an amazing day.
