After exploring the Grammarly tool and reflecting on the article by Haci Hasan Yolcu (2023), I realized that the role of teachers is undergoing a significant transformation in the age of artificial intelligence. As a future English teacher, I see that these technologies do not replace our work—they enhance it, allowing us to support students in a more personalized and effective way.

Grammarly showed me how a tool can provide immediate feedback, detect specific errors, suggest improvements in style, and promote autonomous learning. I believe that using it in the classroom helps students become more aware of their writing process, actively correct their mistakes, and build confidence in their language skills. It made me understand that teachers are no longer the sole source of correction, but facilitators between students and the intelligent tools available to them.

Therefore, I firmly believe that our role must focus on guiding, motivating, and teaching students how to use these tools properly. Artificial intelligence is an opportunity to improve the quality of education—as long as teachers are willing to stay updated, adapt, and keep learning. My experience with Grammarly confirms that when used wisely, technology enriches teaching—it never replaces it.

interest. From my point of view, as a future English language teacher, I see that

technology has advanced and we can use it to improve teaching. In the case of

languages, it is a great advantage, since applications can give you examples and

show your weaknesses and promote your strengths in your preparation, not only

for students but for teachers.
