1. Could the lecture include a short Zoom poll or mini Kahoot quiz- to be a little more interactive 
2. I really enjoyed the last tutorial in which we did a 5min summary at the beginning and then broke off into groups to discuss and then fed back to the group. Can we do more of these please? Equally, assigning half the class an argument and the other half the other side, so that we can engage in debate around the subject matter.

In the beginning we did this a tiny bit. Though I think it would be helpful to know more about different perspectives on gender and then come back to them from time to time.

Also I am really sad that feminist economics seems to be not at all questioning the gender binary. For creating a more inclusive classroom I wish this would change!

However, I am a bit frustrated about the many mainstream perspectives we get to know and I am wondering if this is what most feminist economists are doing. I hope that they do not only argue against mainstream perspectives but also come up with own theories and models.

I appreciate how you present different thesis and evidence for them. But I would have liked a more critical module (because there is so much to develop and to do!).

I also feel a bit lost with the group work. I think it would have been helpful to link this group assignment to at least two sessions. At the moment it feels quite detached from the upcoming sessions. Therefore, it's not easy to keep track of it. Also I would have liked a handout on "How to do group work" as many students have not had any group work at SOAS before. I find it also a bit bizarre that we only have to deliver a presentation- but have no written report on the findings. This makes the survey project kind of superifical in my opinion.

The structure of the module seems logical- when considering how (standard) economics is mostly taught (micro and macro). However, I think that we miss important philosophical debates in the field as we are mostly looking at empirical studies.

I am also missing the broader picture: Are all of these topics looked at by feminist economists? What are the newer debates in the field? How did the field develop over the last decades? How is research on gender incorporated by the mainstream?

In general I am glad about the things I learned so far but would have appreciated to learn more about critical approaches within feminist economics.
