I learned how to help the Western Scrub-Jays. You can help by not killing insects, reptiles and bugs so that the birds have something to eat. You can also buy or grow shrub and monogamous so Scrub-Jays can make there nests faster.

I learned a lot about the California Quail but some ways to help my bird are, 1) don't take rocks from places you go because they use rocks to build there nests. Also you should keep some scrub shrub because they like to hide in that and use some of it for there nests. Lastly it would help if you had some berries or acorns because they eat those things.

What I learned by helping birds is that you can easily help birds by buying seeds at any local wild bird or pet store. Most birds eat seeds so doing that can really help inprove the wildlife in our envirement. I thought this project was cool because we could teach other people that use are creek to give back. Mourning Doves are no where near endangered and conservationists really don't care about them, but one thing you can do is go kill a Eurasian Ring-Neck Dove, they're are stealing the Mourning Dove's food and habitat. Here is a helpful tutorial on how to do just that:
