The inhabitants speak different languages, but there is one main language that is used in the governement and that is english. An average South-African speaks two different languages.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>In 1652 the first europeans settled in Cape Town, which is one out of  three capitals in South Africa</li><li>In 1852 the British colonies takes control over Cape Town.</li><li>In 1886 the country went rich after gold was discovered in Johannesburg.</li><li>In 1902 the British takes full controll over South Af<span style="font-size: 13px;">rica</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13px;">In 1910 South Africa becomes an indipendent nation</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13px;">On the 18th of July in 1918, Nelson Mandela was born. He lived on to become a political legend in South Africa.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13px;">In 1948 the Apartheid was introduced and it became legal to physically seperate different racial groups.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13px;">In 1952 a group led by Nelson Mandela himself starts a campaign against apartheid.</span></li><li>In 1960 67 Africans were killed while protesting against apartheid</li><li>In 1962 Nelson Mandela was arrested for plotting against the government, he spent 27 years in prison.</li><li>In 1990 president F.W De Klerk announced the end of apartheid, That day was the last day Nelson Mandela spent in prison.</li><li>In 1993 De Klerk and Nelson Mandela were awarded the Nobel Peace Price for their work against apartheid.</li><li>In 1994 Nelson Mendela became president.</li><li>In 1999 Nelson Mandela stepped down as president</li><li>In 2004 Thabo Mbeki begun his second term as the president.</li><li>In 2009 Jacob Zuma was elected as the president.</li><li>In 2010 South Africa hosted the official FIFA World Cup.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>The 2010 FIFA World Cup</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In 2010 South Africa became the first african country to host the finals. <span style="font-size: 13px;">South Africa were awarded the competition in 2004 and from 2004 to 2010 they built five new stadiums that cost US$1 billion. The tournment started June 11 and ended July 11, 31 days of pure football. 32 teams from 6 different continents participated in the tournmanet. 64 games was played and 145 goals were scored during the tournament.</span></p><p>The opening game of the tournament was South Africa - Mexico wich enden 1-1 after goals from Siphiwe Tshabalala and Rafael Marquez. South-Africa did not progress from the group stage but they will be remembered for joy they showed on the pitch.</p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Spain won the World Cup when they defeated Netherland 1- 0 after Andres Iniesta netted the winning goal i the 116th minute. It was a fantasic final and when Iniesta scored, the whole spanish population went crazy. Spain did not only win glory and happiness, they cashed in $31 milion US dollars.</span></p>]]></description>
