Pupils and their parents at Lanzhou Country Garden School are given specialist advice and support in their application journey, often from as early as year 8. The application process is led and monitored by a dedicated team of university guidance staff and pupils are guided through the complex process with the additional support of teachers and tutors. The University Guidance Office provides career planning guidance and assistance with our students’ IB or IGCSE or A LEVEL course selection, so they are prepared to attend university in their chosen field and selected country. We also offers one-to-one college planning support, assists students in compiling the necessary materials required for university and college applications, and helps prepare transcripts and reference letters for students. Our Counsellors’ expertise helps keep students and parents informed about the requirements for tertiary studies, the courses and programmes offered in various countries, and application processes.

 

 

Lanzhou Country Garden School hosts an abundance of visits from representatives from a vast range of universities and colleges annually, representing the US, the UK, Australia, Continental Europe, Canada, Hong Kong, and Singapore, giving students and their parents an opportunity to meet and speak with overseas university representatives about their admission processes, as well as university life and their programmes.

 

 

Career workshops, courses, and information evenings are frequently organised on our Secondary campus to better prepare our students for the planning of their future.
