Most of my family lives here. We spent almost every summer here as  I was growing up! My mom had me at a young age so I was passed around to many family members and family friends houses. I got to see farm life. My maternal family (grandparents, aunt, uncle, and mom) would go on vacations all across the states. I stayed with both older people and younger people. I learned how to sing my abc's before I was 2. I also participated in the 4th of July talent show as a singer during my toddler years. I made many friends. We lived near family on my paternal grandmothers side and spent a lot of time at their house. My great aunt loved to read. She encouraged my reading. I found a love of the Junie B. Jones series here, as well as the Boxcar Children books.
