In contrast between the two sites, Pinterest homepage is filled with images and videos compared to Pocket which is full of articles. When on Pinterest, you are presented with a page full of images and infographics which are inspirational and aesthetic. When you tap on an image, there are links to the original sources and articles or websites that the photograph came from, which I found especially useful when researching fashion and beauty information. On Pocket when you tap onto an article, one intriguing feature was that you can follow the author of an article that you found interesting. You can then find more articles written by them and follow their content. For me I personally find Pinterest more appealing when gathering information as I am a visual learner and like how the main source of information is through videos and pictures.
