My idea for this prompt is somewhat similar to the previous one as it has some sort of parallel. For this one, I wanted to do Gojo and Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen, namely, their beta fish. This idea was inspired by @my_name_is_.pheonix on Tiktok where he wanted to make Gojo and Geto’s beta fish with cardboard. I wanted to do the same with similar materials but with different designs. Judging from the draft, you can see that the fishes are swimming in a circular motion. I wanted to also put a turn table under it to make it not only interactive but to also add a sense of reality to the artwork.

Currently still a work in progress. Started with Geto since his fins are more detailed. I forgot to send an update last week which also meant I forgot to take pictures 💔. I had a bit of assistance from my mom in terms of preparing since I didn’t have much of a plan. However, what I did have in mind and what we decided to do was that the base of the fish would be cardboard, it would be filled with scratch paper, and then covered with masking tape. The whole fish would then be paper machě so that it would be easier to paint. The cardboard circle on the bottom would need to be painted in order to look water.

All parts of each fish (fins and tail) have been attached using hot glue. I put paper machě on all parts of each fish. Gold string was used for Geto’s fins and tail to add depth. Circle at the bottom has been painted white for the base coat.

Both fish have been painted with their corresponding colors. Circle at the bottom has been painted and details have been added. I still need to add details and final touches to all 3.
