    Restaurant Can Culleretes is loved by locals and tourists alike. If you don't enjoy full meals, you can try the wonderful 'crema catalana' dessert which is milk based (rather than cream itself) and thickened with eggs. It is baked in a water bath in the oven, then dipped in sugar and toasted on top. Reviews for the location are in the thousands, so if you want more information before you dive into the local food scene, feel free to read those reviews!

One of Europe's most famous exhibitions of history would be the Runis of Empuries.   • Spring is known to be mild, with an average of 2 inches of monthly rainfall, and temperatures tend to be near 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind that the inner areas of Catalonia tends to get more rainfall in Spring than the coastal areas!

    • Summer is warm throughout Catalonia. Summer days on the Mediterranean coast have average high temperatures in the 70s and 80s; overnight temperatures fall into the 60s from June to August. Summer is the driest season of the year along the coast. Interior regions get more storms and fog during the summer. Summer is the wettest month of the year in the valleys of the Pyrenees in northern Catalonia.

    • Fall in Catalonia is wet along the coast, and temperatures sit around 70 degrees, before gradually lowering to near 60. The region gets 2-3 inches of rain, depending on the closeness to the coast, and inland areas are generally much colder than areas nearer to the coast.

    • Catalonian winters are cool along the coast and colder in the interior. The Pyrenees Mountains get frequent snowfall during the winter. Snow occasionally falls along the coast, but it melts quickly. Temperatures go from a height of 50 degrees, while mornings tend to be around 40 degrees.

Women are always greeted this way, but two men shake hands with each other unless they are relatives.

    The Spanish siesta is one of the country’s most well-known traditions. Nowadays, few Spaniards are able to commute all the way home to have a midday nap, but many shops still close at lunchtime – usually from 2 pm to 4 or 5 pm. Major chains, however, are normally open all day without interruption.
     
    People in Spain make more physical contact during conversations, so don’t be alarmed if someone touches you on the shoulder or stands very close while having a chat. The concept of personal space is not as strong as it is in other countries.
