If a classmate turns off his video during our class discussion, it makes everyone in the group less motivated. When this happened to me, I felt as if I didn't want to do the group work. My attitude changed, and I think the whole group felt differently. If it happened again, I would ask my classmate if he needs any help. I would do this because I'm trying to hold positive assumptions..

I am usually a shy person. When I'm working with a group on a project, and everyone takes on a role such as researcher, PowerPoint designer, or speaker, I feel motivated to volunteer to help. Because I'm shy, I also feel some stress about volunteering. If I am assigned to another group project and the members volunteer, I might feel more comfortable volunteering too because they will give me positive energy.

Can people make the best result alone? If people worked with teammate and distributed works, they would get a superb result. There are lots of works to do assignments such as making presentation, communication, researching, and writing. If teammates share tasks, they would undermine stress and finish the work as fast as possible.

Last semester, I was part of a study group for a coding class, and everyone in the group was highly motivated and constantly sharing resources. Initially, I didn’t feel the need to put in as much effort as they did, but over time, their dedication inspired me to work harder. If I hadn’t been influenced by their work ethic, I wouldn’t have achieved such a high grade in that class. Their consistent effort pushed me to stay focused, and I ended up performing better than I originally expected.

In groups working between other classmates and me, there are always some free-riders. When this happened to my group, I felt I really wanted to kick him out of the group. If there is only one free-ride, I would try to ignore him. But I will ask my other classmates whether we will report him.

In the group, Everyone is enthusiastic and motivated to finish the task by the end of class. At first, I feel a bit unsure of how much I can contribute. However, as I see my classmates excitedly discussing ideas, I start feeling the same energy. If the group weren’t so motivated, I might not have felt the push to give your best effort.

When I was in high school, our PE class had lot of group activities such as base ball, soccer, and basketball. And I’m always joined my roommate’s team because he was very good on sports. So he was always the leader of our team, and he always focused on match and toke each match very seriously. Over time, his quality that taking each match seriously makes our team become the most competitive team for our school, it is all because his quality made a good example for us. If he not focus on every match, we would not become the most competitive team!

For me, if I can collaborate with my teammates and share some of the work, we can share ideas and get excellent results. Group assignments usually involve a lot of work, such as making presentations or speeches, researching and writing materials. If teammates can share the tasks, the pressure on everyone will be reduced and we will complete the work faster.
