This is just a thought, and I might have missed this/ this might have just been due to my own stupidity but it wasn't totally clear to me whether the BIPOC in Asia breakout was supposed to be a space for BIPOC only or if it was ok for white/non-bipoc ppl to attend to listen and learn/reflect on their own privilege. Maybe an idea for next time would be to explicitly state in writing on the flyer/ ticket whether it's supposed to be a BIPOC only space or if it's intended for everyone so as to reduce confusion if ppl miss a verbal announcement or are uncertain as to what the goal of the workshop is.

Or at least provide the ETAs/ETFs with some skills and information on how to facilitate beforehand. The discussion I was a part of felt dominated by the facilitator, who took up a lot of space and did not let most attendees even have the chance to speak. Silence is ok in dialogues - people are taking time to think and reflect!
