I'm 19 years old and I'm from Peru. I'm a student at Sinclair Community College and my major is English. I also work part-time as a cashier at Lowe's Home Improvement. I think I improved a lot with knowing my way around college, because since this is my first year I have been a little lost with finding things around campus and this course helped me with that. 

2. Knowing myself.

Thanks to some activities and self-assesments I've been able to know my strenghts and weaknesses a little better. For example, when wee did the OCEAN activity.

3. How to be successful.

I think I learned a lot of strategies and exactly how I have to use the school resources in order to never fail a class. So far I have good grades in my courses!

Working and studying isn't something easy. I know I still did a good job in both but I could've done better when it comes to my grades. If I need extra help with my grades I would go to any on-campus labs, for example the math lab or the writing center to ask for extra help so I can improve my grades. 

2. Not communicating enough.

I am the shy student most of the time, the one that rarely asks questions. This is somethng I definitely have to improve because if I have doubts and don't ask or say something, I will never be able to improve my grades, which is my goal. Studying strategies will definitely help me to be successful in the future, this is the lesson that I enjoyed the most because it is useful now and for when I transfer to a 4-year university.

2. Cope with stress.

This one is the most difficult one for me, I have learned different strategies to cope with stress in this class that I will definitely try out. 

3. Time management.

I learned that some things are better if done immediately and not waiting until the last minute.
