Well, I think it is unfair on the Trump's administration side not to provide support to foreigners teachers, because as the note indicates, teachers are needed there, and on the other hand, I believe that teachers are more than justified in requesting their right to obtain the green card because they just want to work.

I understand their frustration but they were never promised a permanent visa, it was contingent on results/work performance, the confusion is justified I think, but at the same time It isn't, because It was never written on paper, plus it was in-between administrations, and the fact that's colliding with Trump's policies permeated sadly by racism, It's sad but undertandable, the whole situation that wasn't clear to beguin with has just gotten worse.

I think all these new rules and persecutions are affecting the wrong populations. I understand the desire to remove illegal immigrants for different legal issues, but this "human hunt" that ICE carries out on anyone who is not a citizen truly leaves much to think about regarding the priorities of the Trump administration.

I think it's a bit unfair how all those teachers were betrayed (?) by D.C. schools. They worked hard for three years only to be left in a legal and emotional limbo. Yes, D.C. schools never said it was permanent, but they also never gave any warning about it, which leaves the teachers with no options.
