         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Gallery is structured with a plant in the shape of a cross (196m long north-south, east-west 105,5m, 14.5 wide and alta21) and the octagon that is formed at the intersection of the arms is covered by a bold dome of glass and iron which reaches 47m in height and which, for its modern technique and for its originality, is to be put in relation with the other similar structures created in the same period in London and Paris. The lighting was initially gas, the floor was made of marble, and was restored in the sixties and has also affected the reconstruction of the pavement. and the octagon there are tems mosaic: in the center of the Savoy, the sides those of Milan and of the three cities in succession capital of the kingdom: Turin, Florence, Rome. The facades are clad in marble with triumphal arches; the bearing structure is made of iron and cast iron they are made from prefabricated pieces.<br>Giacomo Betto </div>]]></description>
