Grass can be very vital to most wildlife. It provides nutrition for some wildlife, hiding from predators, helps stalk for prey, and multiple other essential ways for an animal to survive. Having a grass fire either from natural causes or man made causes, produces numerous issues. These leave many animals to find new homes or to find new location to stalk prey to survive.
Example) Rodents are forced to dig holes to escape fires to get to safe measures.
Grass fires, to me, are very dangerous and ruin many parts of lands. Having grass fires is like watching wildlife slowly die, and it takes away life.
http://ne.audubon.org/frontpage/other-wildlife-issues

Oil Spills

Oil Spills are very dangerous especially when it spills into oceans or many acres of lands. It covers many lives of animals with oil and it potentially can kill many marine animals or wildlife. Animals can escape the spills, but when they come back, if its safe, their food that they feed on can be contaminated by the oil. There are 4 different types of oil spills that can happen. Each type is poisonous to animals in the ocean and on land.
Example) When animals are covered in oil and get washed up such as a duck, rescue teams work hard to find living animals to clean them up and get them back to health to get them back out in the wild.
Oil spills, to me, is in the top 10 of my books to be the cause of so many animal deaths and population numbers decreased.
http://www.dw.com/en/oil-spill-in-singapore-waters/a-5605772

Real Life Experience- Poached Deer

Poached deer is an illegal action done by hunters or non-hunters to wild animals. I have seen multiple poached deer on the side of highways. A couple months ago, driving to my house, there was a poached deer on the side of the highway. When driving past this deer, it must have just got hit because it was still moving a bit. There was also blood on the highway that was dripping from his leg as it was a buck. Seeing this animal suffering my thoughts went straight to how families could've used the meat. That sounds harsh but that's how my mind looks at wild game sometimes. Even though we can't control wildlife from crossing highways and other roads from getting hit it's hard to see deer just being wasted. My family has been hunting for many years and there's no doubt that I would think like this.

The Blue Planet

A Natural History of the Oceans from the series the blue planet is a documentary that was aired on October 24 2001, and is 48 minutes long.
The blue planet- a natural history of the oceans is about the marine life that lives by tides. The 2 tides that are mentioned are the rising tide and falling tide. The narrator David Attenborough describes the life of different marine animals from whales to krill depending which parts of the oceans he is talking about. He journeys around the oceans coasts to explore the different ways different fish or marine animals do to hide from prey, stock prey, and just to relax.
The informaiton that was presented in the film was very informative and interesting. Being a documentary I thought it was going to be very boring and a waste of 48 minutes of my life, but I really enjoyed it. Even though some parts were a bit boring to watch the other parts made up for it as it was interesting to listen to what he had to say about each species in the ocean and their different techniques to different scenarios.
What is it like to go down and film these animals in the ocean to get many videos and pictures
How long did it take for them to make this documentary perfect?

The New Threat to Wolves in and Around Yellowstone posted on May 1,2017 by Jim Robbins.

I can agree and disagree with this article. I can agree that hunting wolves to decrease the population size to keep it at a stable and efficient number. I can disagree that with hunting the wolves by Yellowstone those hunters could be taking away the life of baby wolves such as if they kill a mother and didn't know she was pregnant or could've been bred to have babies. It is good to be in control of the wolves number of population but killing them to keep those numbers down could have an affect later in life.
Is hunting the wolves the only often we can do?
Could we relocate the wolves somewhere else for them to populate more in that new place?
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/01/science/wolves-hunting-yellowstone-national-park.html

Growing Up Wild was aired out in 2016 and is 1 hour and 17 minutes long.
Growing Up Wild is a documentary about 5 different baby animals learning from their species on how to grow up in the wild and how to survive. The narrator follows the adventures of these 5 different species and the first challenges they have to take. With the responsibility of finding food for survival for themselves they recognize the dangers in the wild has in store for them. Getting advice and guidance from their family members they get ready for independence.
The information that was protrayed in the film made me interested at the beginning. Having a show about baby animals is very interesting to me because they have to work for their food and independance. Watching the animals interact with their same species makes me relate to my family in a way. I was a little kid once and I have grown to the person my parents and other family members have influenced me to be.
What was it like to follow these animals every foot step for a day to film this?
Did some parts of the show/documentary make it difficult?
