Back in South Africa as young aspiring boys Nick and I would be taken to the movies weekly, whether that with our parents or our grandparents.

Most notably our grandparents took us to see movies that shaped the way in which we wrote and communicated in a fictional way, diversifying narrative taste if you will.

The most important thing gained from each film we had been taken by was the use of imagination and wonder, our grandparents gave us a 'hand up' in that our imaginations ran wild and thus allowed us to create personal goals, that today are now realities.
