I liked this painting because of what the flowers sprouting out her head could possibly represent. We all know that each individual person has different thoughts running through their mind. The way the artist represented that with more than just the person's own physical features by adding in particular objects to convey the message about this person

I liked this piece because of all the colors that were incorporated into the subject and the background. Watercolor is not a medium I have used often, so this caught my eye

I loved this piece because of the background used. Not only is it vivid, but it appears to be lively and filled with movement. The happy-looking giraffe also makes the mood of painting much happier

I found this piece interesting because of the use of contrasting colors. It allows the peacock in the middle to catch the viewer's attention. the way the oranges around the peacock look like fire burning emphasizes the peacock even more.

this piece uses graphite and charcoal to create the images of flowers. I love the amount of detail put into the texture of the flowers. There is so much variation in the values of the flowers and the different shades work together to form significant contrast to define the shapes of petals. Since i will be incorporating flowering plants into my concentration, i took a great amount of interest in this particular piece.

I love the color in this piece. I am not as well versed in color mediums as I am with charcoal. The mastery of the color pencils in this piece inspires me to practice using mediums like color pencil.
