         <description><![CDATA[<div>Researchers: thorndike and woodwork&nbsp;<br>procedure: cat would be put into a cage&nbsp; and fish would be placed outside and the fish would need to try to escape to get the fish and once the fish was out then it would get the reward and be put back in and the cat would then get back out&nbsp;<br>results: the escape was decreased every time and connections are strengthened from the mind, if it was rewarded then it would decrease<br>relevance: sets a foundation for basic learned behavior </div>]]></description>
