The Barbican Exhibition, visiting London and taking photography, looking for architectural buildings and artistic graffiti as a starting point. This has given me ideas towards what direction to take.

-Keep hair tied back

-No food or drinks 

-Don't keep bags around, this is to prevent any trips or falls.

-don't sew with the pins in, this can break the needle on the sewing machine.

-always turn the machine off when changing the thread.

-don't place your fingers near the needle when sewing.

*expressing my drawing by hand and by program (Illustrator) I've seen that Illustrator works better for me and that's something I can continue to do over summer and experiment further with this.

*Also practicing the toile has been a strength, to see how my final outcome will look.

*Gathering research and exploring outside of southend, really analysing what's around me for inspiration.

Toile's being made,
3cm was taken off the hem,
Marked where zips would be
experimentation with pin tucks, pockets and samples also screen printing, which I wasn't a big fan off because of the risk to be taken and ruining the fabric.
