         <description><![CDATA[<p>For some time now I've been obsessed by and collecting "covers" — other versions of original or famous songs. I especially like covers that really transform the song. One example I love is the Jamaican mento band <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Jolly_Boys">The Jolly Boys</a> cover of <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPbhDA1JWxQ"><em>Before the Next Teardrop Falls</em></a>, a song made most famous in a sorta US country-western version by Freddy Fender. The Jolly Boys also do some other really lovely covers, like of Rolling Stones songs.</p>]]></description>
