This project went smoothly. It was a little time consuming, but overall was easy. I learned that Andy Warhol liked to take pictures of people in the moment and not posing. I also really like the polaroid effect.

Clone Photography

During this project I learned a lot with photoshop. For example how to cut and delete layers. This project was really fun but a little difficult to make sure the camera didn’t move in each picture of the scene. I overall really liked this project and the final product turned out good.

Professional Headshot

This project was fun and easy. I learned how to make the pictures look more professional. It was a little difficult to find people for this one because you had to have them come in the black box theatre. I really enjoyed doing this assignment and doing a more professional project.

6 Word Memoir

This project was very different from our usual assignments. For example we wrote on our hands. This project had a really good message and it was fun to write something that explains me and photograph that. I learned how to use different filters tomato the picture look cooler.

Portrait Illustration

This project was one of the more harder projects we have done during photo 2, but it was still fun. The hardest part was figuring out how thick the lines should be, but it helped me learn a lot more with photoshop. I liked this project, but I think the results could have been better. It doesn’t look bad, but the illustration does not look like SZA.

Animal Face Illustration

The animal one was a little easier, but it was also hard to do because of the black color and to do the fur. The eye color turned out really good. I did learn more from this one with the eyes and just ways to make it easier for myself. I would like to try this again but with a different animal.

Surreal Levitation

This project was really fun. The editing wasn’t very difficult. I learned how to cut something out of a photo. I liked how you could adjust where the person was in the photo so they could be higher in the sky. The finished product also turned out good after the editing. I also liked how we took the pictures outside because the background was more interesting.

Tiny Planet Effect

This project was a lot of fun. I liked the editing and the process of making the planet and how it turned into a circle. I thought this project came out to looking really cool. I also like the shadow I think it added a lot to the photos and pulled it all together. I learned how to use a lot of different tools on photoshop. This assignment was definitely one of my favorites.

Low Poly Vector Art Portrait Effect

This project was really time consuming and kind of difficult to not make it look bad. The hardest part was just figuring out where you should draw your triangles and how big they should be. After the final product I learned that you should make your triangles a little bigger. This project was not my favorite because it took up so much time and the outcome wasn't even good.

Custom Playing Cards

This project was fun and different from what we normally do which I liked. This project was a group project which made it fun and good to switch it up sometimes. I discovered how to cut faces and morphe them into a little space on the playing card.This assignment was overall pretty easy and not super time consuming because everyone in the group helped.

Nature Photos

I enjoyed this project because we got to go outside. It was also pretty easy because we did a lot of projects like this in photo 1. The editing also wasn’t hard because we only had to pick a filter that made the photo better. I learned that a plain tree can look so much cooler if you just go at a different angle.

Choice Photos

This project went very well for me. I liked how we had a lot of freedom to take the pictures and edit. The editing was fun because we could adjust to fit the photo just right. I learned that taking a picture at an angle can make the picture looks so much better.

DIY Week

This project was fun to do because we had a lot of choices on what we wanted to do. I love DIY weeks and want to continue to do them. The hardest part was finding the tools that were on the video on my screen, but i overall really liked this project. This one shown is an x-ray effect and it looks really cool.

I liked this project a lot because we got to go outside. The editing was also easy because we already had practice with it the last time we did a choice photo assignment. I learned how to make sure the colors were contrasted and to make the black and white filter be ore effective.

This project was probably one of my favorites. Taking the pictures were fun and so was the editing. I learned how to distort peoples facial features by using photoshop. The editing was not time consuming and you could play around with it a lot.

Reflection

During this class I learned a lot. There was a lot of trial and error but in the end it all helped me learn more. I grasped the skill of using photoshop and I think I've got the basis of understanding with it. I also learned how to make a boring ordinary photo have much improvement by just switching up the angle or using a filter on photoshop. Some of my favorite projects were clone in photography, tiny planet, choice photos 3, and DIY weeks. Overall I really liked this class and it was a fun one to take.
