To Hassan - How do you still manage to care for and see Amir as a brother or friend although he saw what you were going through and hurt you both physically and mentally?

To Amir - Does Babas love really matter if you if you lose Hassan, someone who cares for deeply for you? Do you feel ashamed watching him hurt because of you?

Amir: Why did Amir confess aloud to witnessing what happened when nobody was listening, yet he can't bring himself to tell Hassan's own father? Wouldn't remaining silent about what happened cause more tension and arguments between Amir and Baba (if he ever found out)? Why is he risking that?

Hassan: Why doesn't Hassan tell his father and Baba about what happened? They're clearly worried about him, and keeping it from them won't prevent them from never finding out. It's only hurting them by not telling them.
