I chose this song because there were young women who had to go through the concentration camps and who didn't have a voice however these women in the resistance put themselves out there and fought for those who were stuck and couldn't which is why I chose this song. This song talks about rising up after being ignored and pushed away for so long until you break away and find your voice again.

After the Holocaust they were known as the women who seduced and killed Nazi soldiers and were idols to women around the world. The medal you see in the picture is called the " Mobilisation War Cross " They were awarded this by the Dutch Prime Minister.

Some fun facts about these girls is that one, they wouldn't just deuce and kill the Nazi soldiers they also used dynamite to weaken bridges that they lured the Nazi soldiers onto. They also snuck Jewish kids out of their hometown to get to safety. Forthermore they also snuck kids out of concentration camps which was highly dangerous.
