Some of Grade level students at Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School (Stand Alone Senior HighSchool) struggle with reading comprehension and fluency, which affects their overall academic performance. This issue is caused by a lack of engaging reading materials, As a result, students find it difficult to understand complex texts, analyze information, and express their thoughts effectively.

Reading comprehension is a most essential skill that affects students academic success and critical thinking abilities. Many students at Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School (Stand Alone Senior High-school) struggle with understanding and analyzing texts, which impacts their performance in various subjects. Without proper reading enhancement programs, students may find it difficult to absorb information, express ideas clearly, and prepare for future Academic challenges. By improving reading programs and resources, we can help students develop strong Reading and comprehension skills, boost their confidence, and enhance their overall learning experience. This petition aims to encourage the school staff to take action and prioritize reading development for the benefit of all students.

The solution, is the school Administration needs to establish some programs like Structured Reading Program, so that the students will inform and they can practice and understand each lesson that was given to them, in that way the teacher will help and guide the students improve their reading comprehension skills.
