There are many advantages and disadvantages of hosting international games.
First, competition arises to become the host country of the international games, and the cost of it is enormous. Also, hosting the international game is a huge and dangerous project. international game facilities have a deadline that must be completed, and this cannot be delayed. Therefore, in many cases, finishing construction has often involved extra crews working around the clock, which means cost running over. In addition, ongoing debt from construction, infrastructure that becomes unnecessary after the Games, increased rent, and unjust displacement of citizens, and the use of famous theaters and hotels may decrease during the competition. However, it depends on how long tourists stay, and there are many other advantages.
Hosting the international game increasingly has been an impetus for addressing some of a host city’s pressing needs, especially in terms of infrastructure. There are also many advantages such as urban renewal, increased tourism and employment, enhanced city image and reputation, improved public welfare, and a renewed sense of community.
That's why many countries are trying to host the international game at a huge cost.

Write an assessment of one of Gwangju's sports locations.
-Gwangju World Cup Stadium, where the Korea-Japan World Cup Football Tournament was held in 2002, opened exclusively for soccer, but it is now designed to be used as a multi-purpose general stadium, increasing its utilization. In addition, there are many buses coming from bus terminals and Gwangju Airport, and urban railway line 2 will be built in 2023, making it more accessible than now when it is opened.

List the advantages and disadvantages of this location for different kinds of sports.
-Since it has been opened exclusively for soccer, it can also be used as a soccer field, but now it has the advantage of being able to use it as a track and field stadium by removing variable seats and installing track in an empty spaces.
In addition, there is an advantage of convenient transportation due to public transportation from bus terminals and airports, but there is no public transportation coming directly from Songjeong Station (train station), which is a little inconvenient, and urban railway construction is currently underway near the stadium.

Make a suggestion about what future international sports events should be hosted in Gwangju.
-Gwangju is a city where the Summer Universiade and the World Swimming Championships were held, and various sports events can be held. In addition, places with meaning and history are well established, such as the International Archery Center, the World Cup Stadium, and the 518 MIN JU Square. In addition, there is plenty of space to set up the stadium, and there are well-equipped places and hotels to be used as the venue for the general meeting during the competition, so it would be especially good to hold international events for baseball, archery, and swimming.
