Unlike most lower division biology and chemistry classes, organic chemistry requires skillful puzzle-solving abilities, a skill I had not been exposed to before hte 51 series. Though, of course, memorization is required to an extent in organic chemistry, the way in which this subject has to be learned was newnad, in many ways, helpful not just in the context of the series, but with regards to other classes as well. The ability to critically think and puzzle-solve has increasingly shown itself to be helpful in my other courses as well as in my research.
