The students are starting to talk more to each other and having more in person interactions. Although less bullying on-line and social media but now need to be more vigilent on school devices to make sure students stay focused.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting our West Middle School for our Secondary Leadership Team meeting where groups of students from differrent content areas, clubs, Student Council, etc presented the projects they have been working on and this topic came up. The principal and students communicated that it has helped students get back to building connections with one another, teachers, etc. and is motivating them to get involved in activities, projects,conventions, and clubs during their lunch periods, before and after-school. Seeing all the amazing projects students shared yesterday definitely provides hope that this ban will be beneficial for everyone involved. BUFSD
