George vs George is a narrative introduces the two enemies, both named George: George Washington, the man who freed the American colonies from the British, and George III, the British king who lost them. Two leaders on different sides of the Atlantic, yet with more in common than we sometimes acknowledge. I would use this to help my students understand we can have two different opinions and perspectives.

He is a lowly commoner on the streets of London. So when he becomes the page of Captain John Smith and boards the Susan Constant, bound for the New World, he can’t believe his good fortune. It talks about the world that he discovers in Jamestown it's hard to tell who's friend or foe. This also a great book to teach on history of American Indians and community.
