However, I agree that Jack should not be expelled because this is the first offense he committed. The two days suspension is just enough punishment for him. I believe Jullian is also at fault and he was the one who brought it to himself.

I do understand why Jack hit Julian but there is still no excuse to hit somebody. Jack got a suspension for two days and I feel that that is the perfect amount of time for someone that physically hurt someone for the FIRST time to be punished. At school you shouldn't have to worry about getting hurt . Another thing that Julian did wrong was fight back . He could have left to go to the nurse but instead he fought back . II don' t think he should've punched him but istead he should have stood up by Auggie by saying things like  "he's not a freak" . I feel like the pnishment he got was very fair .
