It also allows for uploading a pdf file separately from the answer key.  You could use zipgrade online with any of your old test. Just enter in the answer key and upload a picture as pdf and its ready to go.  Cons. Although it does a trial period it cost $6.95 a year for the full version.    C. Common Lit features most of our reading selections. It offers a guiding question part which allows students the opportunity for understanding basic plot events. The Assessment portion does an excellent job with using extensive questioning, multiple choice and short answer, and relates each question to a standard. There is also a discussion section which is great for furthering any understanding of concepts in the piece we are reading. I love the assessment portion because in many instances, one question builds upon another. All of these features are great preparation for the EOC and other standardized tests. The selections are based on grade level, but one can use the selections in any grade level. It also allows one to choose students who may need to do an additional selection for further help with a certain standard or key concept. Delta Math is provided by RCSS for this year. I have found it useful as I can create practice for the students. No papers to collect, can select how many problems for each concept, can use phone or laptop, and can also be used for tests.  I do plan to use Delta Math for Final Exam Review.  Groups can be created so that practice can be tailored for student level (aka differientation). Assignments can be set up so that it opens when the class begins and closes at class end. I have purchased at least 2 escape rooms from teacherspayteachers.com. It requires the students to not only answer content questions, but also requires them to think outside the box use their answers to determine a code for that level. It is also a great way to help them learn to problem solve.

I also add sentence stems to get students started on their responses. After they complete the graphic organizer, I tell them to write everything cohesively. I really love using Nearpod but the storage on there is limited. Now I have discovered Quizizz Lessons. This is similar to the concept or Nearpod because you can add slides and then interactive questions within the presentation. It works really well for Virtual Class as it helps to keep the students engaged in the lesson because there are interactive components spread throughout the lesson. You can add videos and any other information that you like. This is a great option. This is a great tool for science teachers in particular covering a few different content areas. Virtual labs, video clips (from NOVA), games, student resources and assignments are all available which can be adapted and adjusted for differentiated instruction. And, each of the labs include a portion where students can learn about the scientists and technicians working in the field to adapt it to authentic real life experiences.

Like learning stations, using task cards can help teachers give students a range of content. Answering task cards can also be a small-group activity, which adds variety to classes that normally focus on individual or large-group learning.  It also helps teachers individualize instruction by monitoring the pairs, addressing knowledge gaps when needed. My students have to demonstrate the skills that they learned by practicing them such as how to properly measure ingredients, different cutting techniques, and identifying heat transfer methods just to name a few. I do groupings of four students during grammar lessons so, they can help each other out after I present the lesson. I use this collaboration strategy to allow students to bounce grammar rules amongst themselves while working on given task. Students are able to use notes and courseware material to complete in-class assignment as a group. To me, it is a very useful technique because students discuss it within their groups before they finalize their answers. During groups collaboration, I observe, listen, and answer any questions students may have about grammar or related material.
