Closeness in music is an element that is hard to escape because it is deeper than just listening to the music, it a connection, between the musicians and one another. And then following that connection a connection with you and the music, listening with space of closeness that the musicians have crated. Closeness is a feeling of the music, it is allowing your music to be connected. The musicians connect with one another to allow the listener to this "functional counterpoint of rhythmic (Ratliff, 162). It allows the listener to feel the emotion nd connection that the artists have not only with one another as individuals, but with one another as one single entity making art.
