  • We made sure to keep the craftsman style alive with lots of whites and wood, as well as some neutrals thrown in.
  • The yard was screened with the bamboo fencing.
  • A small garden was put in for growing veggies in the spring.
  • We took heed to the clients' eclectic style by adding in some pops of color while still keeping it modern.
  • NKBA guidelines were followed so that if the husband should have a wheelchair, n additional changes would be necessary.

  • Proportion - In the living room, the window and the two pieces of artwork are all of the same size.
  • Emphasis - In the bedroom, the bed and the rug under it are definitely sites of emphasis. Likewise, the entertainment center in the living room has much of the attention in the room. 
  • Balance - Radial balance was used in the kitchen in the chandelier. In the living room, asymmetrical balance was used with he two optically varying pieces of artwork.
  • Scale - In my personal favorite room, the kitchen, all of the items are in scale with the room, and they look nice in the kitchen, like they belong. 
  • Harmony - In the living room and kitchen, specifically, the items go together particularly well, and they are unified. The pieces within them will never get old.
