Copenhagen's innovative Cloudburst Management Plan is a perfect example of climate adaptation! The city has implemented a network of parks and urban spaces that double as water storage during heavy rainfall events. This helps prevent flooding while creating beautiful recreational areas for residents. The Sankt Annæ Square project is one of my favorite examples - it can hold up to 40,000 cubic feet of water during storms!

Did you know that Copenhagen requires new buildings with roof slopes under 30 degrees to have green roofs? These help absorb rainwater, reduce urban heat island effect, and provide habitats for local wildlife. Plus, they look absolutely beautiful! I've seen several school buildings in Copenhagen incorporating these, and they're great teaching tools for environmental education.
