We should be allowed to be ourselves without judgement. We should all accept the fact that we are all different people with different personalities, different traits, and different skin colors. People get teased every day based on their personality or how they looked. I know how people feel when they get teased because that happened to my friend, before she even knew it, it went from teasing to bullying. She was extremely sad and she would sit on the curb by herself during recess. Maybe that you do not have to do it in a mean way, you can simply say "well we were taught a different way". There are also many other ways this is and example of an a situation that should be confronted. But there are many other ways that people should be able to speak about. What we love to do should be something that should be understood and to be loved for who you are. Everyone isn't perfect and we should find everyone's differences. Some people may like different things than you but you should ask why they love a certain thing. If someone is a different race than you that doesn't mean that you or other people should be made fun of. Kids have different sports they like that isn't very popular maybe you should find out what they like about the sport. 
Ex. If someone doesn't speak English you could help them out by teaching them the basic words of English.
