I studied well for the test for about 5 weeks. I was pretty confident and nervous at the same time. I went to the testing room and when the testing administrator gave me the questions and I looked at them, most of them made sense and I knew the strategy to answering them. I thought I would be clueless, it wasn't bad. When I got my scores, I realized I met the goal, and my scores were pretty average; my scores were not common for a 7th grader to get.

I, at first, thought I would be horrible at it. But, as I practiced a lot and developed more interest on it, I found out that I was actually good at it. I also had an opportunity to play in the first chair in one of my school's orchestra concerts.

My dad challenged me by offering to buy me a pen that cost fifty dollars which I had been dreaming to buy for years. I was so confident about winning that I didn't try very hard. My defense was really poor. I gave up when the score was 9:1; My dad with nine goals and me with one goal. Although I lost, my dad bought me the pen and advised me to never be too confident.
