I had to find a pay phone or use a friend's phone when I was at his/her house.  There were NO MOBILE PHONES in existence! 
 We would stay on the phone for hours talking to boyfriends and girlfriends while sitting in the exact same place throughout the entire conversation!  That was because there were phone lines that attached to the wall, and we couldn't just take the phone wherever we wanted.  I didn't even know what a computer was when I was a kid, and it wasn't until I had been teaching for about 8 years (about 1988) before  I had a computer in my classroom!  I was afraid of it mainly because I had never, ever used one!  I had no idea what possibilities would be available to me when I pushed the "ON" button and learned how to use this newfangled device!  I can safely say that life without technology was simpler, quieter, and less involved.  We talked to one another, not texted.  We watched TV without a phone in our hands, and we wrote letters instead of emailing them.  Life has changed, and for some things, I am grateful.  For others, I miss the simplicity that life had to offer "back in the day."  

So, the question is...does technology make our world better or worse?  I think it's a little bit of both.  Of course the convenience of technology is amazing and wonderful.  But, I do believe that it makes life TOO easy sometimes, and we become lazy and complacent.  But, the truth is that technology isn't going to stop....the world will keep on turning, and technology will keep on evolving.]]> 2020-05-10 23:46:02 UTC https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/kpc586qoezk5nwdn/wish/563580583 https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/kpc586qoezk5nwdn/wish/581374126 This song is mostly about 🤬 feeling sad about something deep down. “Suicide, if you ever try and let go”. Feeling the pain that he was feeling at that moment. Trying to let everything go because you can’t handle everything that is going on in life. This is also my favorite song because , everything XXXTENTACION was saying I emotionally felt it . The song make me feel like me and xx both think and feel the same when we are depressed. The reason why I feel that way is because what ever he was thinking and saying I would’ve thought and said the same thing . The song effected my life because at first I felt like no one knew what I was going through not saying I knew him personally but it feels like he made the song for people like me . I didn’t make any changes in my life because of the song , but I changed the way how I always felt . The main character is XXXtentaction. Well i think is both to be honest. I think its better for us and i think it could be bad for us as well. The first thing is why Technology is good for us. Technology is good because using Technology helps some people do what they have to and get jobs done. Some people use technology to go foward with their dream's, like some people want to deal with alot of technology as their perfection. Another example is the situation that is happening now. This situation right now called COVID-19 has alot of people using the internet very much. People are using it to contact family members and friends and also using it for the latest updates on the news as well so everyone could know what is happening with the whole situation. The second thing is why is it worst since i think its both. I think technology is worst because people can use it for many worst and wrongs things. Like for example when things are talked about that happen with a popular person, The media takes it in to their owm hands and spread the word in many different ways. They say many things that can switch the story around of what actually happened. Another example is people can black mail others and scam others for alot of different things. So Technology is good for people and also bad for people.
