Imagine it is Fall/ Winter/ Spring or Summer, and you’re in the market for a jacket or coat (e.g. Raincoat, Parka/ Winter Coat, or Trench/ Thin Jackets - depending on your preferences and needs). Please only consider the jackets/ outerwear you would wear in non-athletic settings (i.e. everyday, commute to and from work, going for dinner etc.)

although we had a few social stops i was not getting out of the car as the baby was asleep. However we had planned to wake baby up when we arrived at B&Q. (We needed some wood for a little DIY project)

Here i am wearing, plain black tshirt from M&S, North Face shorts & berghaus boots.

The weather was crazy hot so i decided to be comfy whilst mooching around, as always when going to B&Q, i have to wear my boots lol, guess it makes me feel more "in with the crowd" whilst in store.

I was still happy today, i chose most of the outfit to comfy whilst driving around, plain black all over, cant go wrong. i feel the entire outfit is very basic, kinda what i wanted with it being so hot.

i wouldnt have changed anything, well maybe go topless, it was soooo hot.

I chose this classic outfit due to the venue, white ralph lauren shirt, plain black levi jeans, the trench/jacket is from COS. i feel very comfy and confident in this outfit, i feel its a strong classic look. i put little to no effort in this outfit i just know it looks good and suits a a smart venue.

this was my first outfit choice of the night. i knew all day i was going to wear this.

i didnt purchase as i am not looking for plain t's right now. i have enough.

Feeling gooood today. i chose this outfit due to the smart venue. it had been raining over night so decided to use a thin trench in case of rain.

i feel very smart and confident in this outfit

This was my second outfit try on, firstly i had a navy shirt but decided to go with the turtle neck.

Feeling a bit tired and grumpy today after a heavy weekend of celebrations.

i chose this outfit as i like to be smart at work.

i am wearing a navy COS shirt, diesel jeans and shoes are from Dune. Shoes and belt should always match.

i feel smart and approachable wearing this outfit, i always feel the jeans tone down the seriousness for work.

i put little to no effort into this outfit as i know its a tried and tested look.

i would say the outfit looks both simple and stylish.

this was my first outfit to try on although initially i did pull out a white long sleeve shirt.

i would not change anything, i really ove the COS shirt i have on, i have it in white too. i feel the 3/4 sleeves and mandarin collar are very different, no one i see in work wears this style and i see few people out socially with this style.

This has definitely inspired me to wear a light shirt this week, i will most likely wear one of my current light shirts and see how it feels, i will most likely end up going back to this and checking it out on the website today.

i sometimes loose confidence knowing to fully pull these looks off you need to be very slim, being muscular and thick set its sometimes hard to pull off some of these looks..... i still try.

this is the type of feed i would actively look on as well as just appearing from following.

Alternatively a nice light shirt to wear in the same scenario but slightly more relaxed.

i tend to do all my research online, after looking at different inspirational feeds on tik tok / insta (previously shown on other task)

for a nicer piece which is what i am after, i would start on websites such as Reiss or COS. get a good feel if anything is on there. if i find something i like i may every now and then go and have a look on Zara or H&M to see if they have something similar, the only issue with the cheaper brands is they don't last as long and definitely don't wash the same. i dont mind spending more if i know it will last longer.

i found this nice light blue shirt which i think has a very relaxed but smart look to it, i could pair this nicely with many other items i currently have.

Straight to the men's section and new arrivals.

both have very smart casual looks to them, both are what would fit perfectly with my current wardrobe. i love the different neutral colour tones they come in too.

just looking at these, i have decided i might want a new pair of beige pants to suit.

I do love the Airing easy short sleeved shirt, especially in navy. It looks as though this can be used as both a casual or a smart item dependent on what its paired with.

The only attributes that stand to me at present are the colour options available, i love the neutral tones.

I would pair this shirt up in two different ways. Relaxed - i would wear it open with a low neck white or navy vest alongside some navy or beige smart trousers and white trainers. Smart - i would wear this buttoned up and tucked into a nice pair of navy or beige pants with some loafers.

I feel i could pull a whole outfit together from the website, i just don't think i would not knowing the quality of the garments yet.

Not many attributes stand out here for me, there is nothing that is out of the ordinary, doesn't feel like its pushing any boundaries. Also feels very generic, i also don't like how the fit seems very oversized, in my eyes this brings the quality down.

i would pair the items with exactly hat the models are wearing in the pictures, neutral trousers with neutral jumpers or t-shirts.

it also feels a little too relaxed for me, almost as though no effort has gone into dressing the models.
