Firstly, we discussed obout adab in seeking knowledge an al Quran as the book of guidance. We shared each others opinion about this topic like story in the al Quran and how to seeking knowledge in a proper way. For example:

Do extra reading. You must do extra reading in a guided way, not randomly..The strong student of knowledge is one who learns the core of their knowledge through teachers but at the same time they continue reading to gain breadth of knowledge.Anytime you are studying one book, try to read a similiar book on the same level. This will deepen your understanding of any topic.

Also one of the members shared her daily routine by reading Al Quran'. I tried to follow her daily routine and my life feels peaceful and i become a calm person. Al-Quran was sent as book of guidence for all humankind to conduct human behavior. Not only that, we recited surah Al- Kahf as the opening of our usrah.I had great time of joining our first week usrah.

Thats all from me.Thank you!

This hadith is also known as Hadith Jibreel. The hadith tells the story of jibreel when he came to the Prophet Muhammad, asking a set of questions. The Prophet Muhammad responded to those questions and then addressed his companions.

Umar (ra) noticed that well-kept individual with clean clothes, whome he didnt know, entered the masjid with no trace of travel on him. Umar (ra) was conscious, he could sense that this man was not an ordinary ma, nor a man from 'around town'

Jibreel (as) came dressed in a very nice and clean way. He sat in front of the Prophet Muhammad in a very respectful and humble way.
ibreel (as) turns to the Prophet Muhammad and says, “Tell me about Islam”. The Prophet’s answer was centered around outward actions. Then he asks him about iman and the Prophet’s answer focused on internal actions of belief and of thought.

Islam and iman are interchangeable concepts revolved around the five pillars of action and the six foundations of belief. When Islam and iman are mentioned together in the same place, then Islam refers to the outward actions and iman refers to the inwards beliefs. The third level is the level of Ihsan, which is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and even if you cannot see Him, to know that He sees you. So, you are moving in this path, this journey, towards the Divine. And in doing so, it’s getting more and more intense.

When Jibreel asked the Prophet Muhammad about the hour, He said, “The one who is being asked about it is not more knowledgeable about it than the one who is asking.” Here, the Prophet Muhammad is saying, this is something that Allah (swt) keeps to Himself and it is part of the “ghayb” (unseen). This is an important lesson because it doesn’t matter when the Day of Judgment is, what really matters is what and how we are preparing for it. We should be continuously striving to please Allah and seek his forgiveness.

Thats all from me.Thank you!

For this week,my usrah (Usrah 19) collab with Usrah 75 because we want to do bonding games (change foods among usrah members) and QnA session. It was so exciting, not only that, i get to make new friend with other usrah members.

Back to our topic,

The concept of Ihsan

IHSAN is a concept in islam that refers to the act of doing good or performing one's duties or any lawful/productive task in the best possible way, with excellence and perfection. The term Ihsan is derived from the arabic root word:حسن, which means beauty, goodness, and excellence. The word Ihsan itself is derived from the verb "ahsana", which means "to do good" or "to do something in the best possible way".

Ihsan goes beyond mere compliance with religious obligations and involves a deep sense of sincerity and mindfulness in one's actions.

he concept of Ihsan encourages Muslims to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives, including their professional lives.

Have You Achieved Ihsan? 3 One of the easiest ways to know if you achieved this high level of ihsan is to assess yourself in your worldly and religious dealings.

Examples
1. Do you always bring Allah into the equation when you talk to people, deal with them, work for them or care for them?
2. Do you constantly remind yourself that Allah is watching and therefore, you have to be nothing short of excellent in your dealings?
3. Is your heart thinking about pleasing Allah all the time?
4.Are you trying to please the people (rather than pleasing Allah)?
5. Do we crave to perform acts of worship and find delight while doing so?
6. Do you anxiously desire to get closer to Allah?
7. Are you careful about not oppressing people through your words/deeds/actions?

If you're saying 'YES' to all of the question means you have concept of Ihsan in you're heart

If you are a student you should not focus your efforts on barely passing your exams. You should be aspiring to actually increase your knowledge throughout the academic year and at the end prove that you have learned by achieving the best results you can.

This may seem like general behavior that everyone should apply regardless of his or her belief; but aside from that, it’s a fundamental Islamic behavior. It is reported that Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Verily, Allah loves that when anyone of you does a job he should perfect it.” Unfortunately, some Muslims have forgotten this concept and abandoned it.

One meaning of ihsan is to do good actions, but when doing good we should also try to perfect it. For example, greeting another Muslim by saying “as-salamu alaykum” (peace be upon you) is a good act, but giving the complete form of the greeting “as-salamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh” (peace, mercy of Allah, and His blessings be upon you) is far better. There’s even another step higher, which is saying the greeting and shaking hands, and you could approach perfection even more by also smiling. We need to try to implement ihsan in everything we do.

ESCHATOLOGY

The study of concerns expectations of the end of the present age, human history, or the world itself. The end of the world or end times is predicted by several world religions (both Abrahamic and non-Abrahamic), which teach that negative world events will reach a climax.

According to Sunni sources, Tamim ad-Dari had embarked on an expedition that was shipwrecked on a mysterious island. On this island, he is taken by a strange creature al-Jassasah to meet a chained man inside of a monastery who is said to be intrigued of the arrival of the tribesman. The chained man is eager to ask them questions about the outside world, asking about the natural condition of various locations, and the arrival of Muhammad. After the tribesmen answer him, the chained man announces he is the Dajjal, and provides them eschatological details related to the future, warning them of his advent. The tribesmen left the island and related their story back to Muhammad who relates it back to the populace.

Thats all from me! Thank you.

For this week, Sr Aishah gave a talk about Prayer,Wudu', Tayammum and Khusyu.I get to know a lot about this topic for example condition to prayer:

Purity (Taharah): The individual performing Salah must be in a state of physical cleanliness and ritual purity. This involves performing ablution (Wudu) or, in specific cases, a full bath (Ghusl).

Covering the Awrah: The private parts of the body must be covered during the prayer. The extent of the required covering is known as the "awrah" and varies between men and women.

Intention (Niyyah): The worshiper must have a sincere and clear intention to perform the specific prayer they are engaging in. The intention should be in the heart and not necessarily verbalized.

Facing the Qibla: The individual must face the Kaaba in Mecca, known as the Qibla, during the prayer. This signifies unity and uniformity in worship.

Timing: Each of the five daily prayers has a specific time during which it must be performed. It is obligatory to offer the prayer within its designated time frame.

Sanity (Aql): The person must be of sound mind and not under the influence of substances that impair judgment during the prayer.

Puberty (Buluugh): The person must have reached the age of puberty for the obligatory prayers to be mandatory.

Freedom from Impurities: The place where the prayer is performed should be free from impurities, and the ground or prayer mat should be clean.

Not only that, the steps involved in performing wudu:

Intention (Niyyah): The individual should have a sincere intention to perform wudu for the purpose of purification.

Begin with the Basmala: Before starting wudu, it is common to say "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah) to begin in the name of Allah.

Wash the Hands: Start by washing both hands up to the wrists three times.

Mouth and Nose: Rinse the mouth and then sniff water into the nostrils, each three times.

Face: Wash the face three times, from the hairline to the chin and from ear to ear.

Arms: Wash the right arm up to the elbow three times, and then repeat the process for the left arm.

Wipe the Head: Wet the hands and wipe the head once, moving the wet hands from the front of the head to the back.

Ears: Wipe the ears with the wet index fingers inside and the thumbs outside.

Wash the Feet: Wash the right foot up to the ankle three times, and then repeat the process for the left

foot.

Lastly , Definition of Khusyu' is (concentration) in prayer is a recommended practice (sunnah), not a pillar (rukun).

Focus, humble oneself, be calm, understand what is being recited, be aware that one is engaged in supplication to Allah, and avoid engaging in frivolous actions during prayer without purpose."

This statement emphasizes that while having khushu' in prayer is highly recommended and virtuous, it is not one of the pillars or essential components (rukun) of the prayer. The recommended actions include maintaining focus, humility, calmness, understanding the recitations, and being conscious of the act of supplication to Allah. It advises against engaging in unnecessary or purposeless actions during the prayer.

This knowledge helps me to become real muslim and to rectify my daily prayer.

That all from me. Thank you!
