1. Use a recent and professional profile picture. A profile with a picture catches the eye faster than a profile without a picture. This is important to stand out from others.

2. LinkedIn has an option to add a background to your profile. This is your chance to show your creativity and add a little colour to your page.

3. If you’re trying to be found more easily by future employers, you should put terms relating to your profession in your headline.

4. Write a short but powerful description/summary about yourself and your strong personal traits.

5. Every LinkedIn user has a public profile url. You could customize it in order to make it look more professional.

6. Make sure your contact information is complete. It should include your email adress, phone number, etcetera.

7. Mention your professional skills. Your network/connections can endorse these skills, which shows that multiple people think you are skill full.

8. List your work experience and internships. Mention your position and responsibilities. Try to keep it as briefly as possible. The same goes for education.

That way you are more likely to be found and the chances of finding the right job will be bigger.

2. try to connect with everybody you know. the more people who will see your profile. Some people whom you thought could never help you may have an uncle who is a project leader whom is in desperate need of a HR trainee.

3. Make sure to get rid of the unnecessary descriptions so recruiters only see the words that matter.

4. Try to find the things that make you special. A hobby, a talent. something that makes you stand out from the crowd.

5. Keep it up to date. Recruiters only look at the profiles which are constantly updated.

1.	Have a catching text about yourself, not too long.
2.	Write a short description of yourself next to your name. For example (Alexandra HR student).
3.	Have a professional picture. NOT a picture of you partying!
4.	Make sure that you write down relevant work experience. You don’t have to write down that you’ve worked at a bakery seven years ago for two months.
5.	Write down which languages you speak and explain which level you have. For example: English full professional proficiency.
6.	Follow companies so that you can stay updated with the activities that they are doing. People can see in which kind of companies you are interested in.
