I went to Australia a few years ago to visit my cousin. I went to the Lone pine Koala Sanctuary, because I really wanted to see the REAL koalas. I had never seen real koalas before that time. I was so excited to see them. When I first met them, they were sleeping. After one hour later, I looked around the whole sanctuary. They were still sleeping!! What's the matter?

I heard from an koala trainer. They sleep for 20 hours!! I could see the real koalas, but I couldn't see the koalas with open eyes. And they were very stinky. Even though they smelled bad, they were so cute. I won't miss the chance to see the koalas with open eyes next time.
