(Which, for future reference is only like an hour from Virginia).  Where they played the Tampa Bay Rays, and, if any of you had been following up with baseball lately, you probably know that the Nationals beat the living snot out of the Rays, with a final score of 15-6. I was fine with this, because the Nats (short for Nationals) are my family's favorite team. Speaking of Family A LOT of Family came down to watch the game. My Nany and Grampa, Nana and Papy, Aunt Moria and Uncle T, and my cousins Caleb, 
Abby, Joel, and Ben. That's only to name a few. The game was overall, exciting, with Trea Turner getting a cycle (single, double, triple, home rune all in one game) ON HIS BIRTHDAY, and just the massive amounts of home runs that came from The Nats. Although I kind of started to feel bad for the Rays at one point...

 I went to Kona, Hawaii! I went with a friend and we had so much fun! The flight there was very cool and short. The flight back felt very long! My favorite was going on a Zodiac Military Boat. A few things we did were go to Hollywood, go boogie boarding, and eat delicious donuts. When we went to Hollywood we saw Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Many parts of it were painted red and the roof is green. The stars that I saw on the Walk of Fame were Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Walt Disney, and Mickey Mouse. It's always fun to boogie board when the water is warm. At Manhattan Beach I got to boogie board all day long. At a place called Sidecar Donuts there were so many kinds of donuts like Butter and Salt, Choc-A-Lot, Basil Eggs Benedict, and Maple Bacon. Their donuts were warm, cakey and made fresh daily. My trip to LA was awesome.

We started our two-week trip in Rome. While I was in Rome I had the chance to see the colosseum, and go to the the UEFA semifinal. The next place we visited was the Amalfi coast! This was by far my favorite destination of the entire trip. The beaches were the most beautiful I had ever seen. The ocean was no less the 80 degrees throughout our entire stay in Amalfi. We went on a private boat tour of capri, and stopped at 4 private beaches, and swam through the Green Grotto. The final stop on our trip was in Florence. Staying in Florence was so amazing! During my stay in Florence I saw the David, and many other spectacular   art pieces.

One of those experiences was going to Utah because my sister was invited to attend the University of Utah for a soccer evaluation. It was really hot and fun. I got to meet a lot of relatives from my Dad's family. While we were there we saw the high school where High School Musical was filmed.

And then my sister and I had soccer tournaments over back to back weekends in San Diego. We went down to San Diego for Ava's soccer tournament first. Once that was over, we drove to Anaheim and went to Disneyland for a few days. 

And now we are going back down to San Diego for my soccer tournament. I hope we make it to the finals!

While in Fort Myers, we drove to Miami to see a Marlins game and then went to South Beach. We also went to the Everglades and rode on 2 different airboats to see alligators and I got to hold a baby alligator. I saw a lot of wildlife when I was in Florida, sea turtles, dolphins, fish, a bald eagle, lizards and alligators. My mum, brother and I visited this amazing Egyptian museum in downtown San Jose the first week of July. It is full of Mummies and artifacts from the great Pharaohs. Some of the models showed the pyramids in great detail and how they were constructed. The was a replica of one of the most famous mummies - Tutankhamen. King Tut ( as he is commonly called) 1341-1323 BC was the last ruler of his dynasty. He was the boy ruler who took the throne when he was about 9 years old.
We visited the gardens outside and had our lunch by the Egyptian reflecting pool it was very peaceful.
I really recommend visiting this museum as it is full of fascinating artifacts and is surrounded by a beautiful garden.

3. Saw the seals at pier 39
4. Rode the cable cars for free all all day all 
over the city and visited the cable car museum.
5. Went up Coit tower in little Italy
6. Went to the fortune cookie factory in China town.
7. Drove down Lombard street the crookist street
8. Went home very very tired!
It’s fun to be a tourist in you own town.

My family and I also went to wake island water park which was an old cat fish farm which was turned  into a water park with giant inflatable obstacle courses, a zip line and a wake boarding park. It was a lot of fun but I was very tired afterwards. We had a floating cabana on the water.

Everybody on my mom's side of the family comes, making sixteen of us. We play tennis, go to the beach, pick berries, and play games. My grandpa taught me how to play tennis when I was little, and everybody always plays at the tennis courts. On the Fourth of July we go down to the beach and watch fireworks. My mom makes a pie (sometimes two pies) from the berries we pick. At night, all the older cousins (including me) stay up late and play lots of games. Its the cart that all the young cousins get pushed around in, and an older cousin would push it around the tennis courts. These are some really good family friends. There were 12 of us all together. We played in the lake A LOT! we also hiked, mountain biked on a really cool single track (a single track is a thin mountain bike trail. This one was soooo fun! there were lots of up and downs. We were going over dirt and rocks the whole time. I even rode down some stone stairs!) went on the slack line and make a 4 story bunk beds hammock! (this is when you put four hammocks on top of each other, it is super scary to be on top.) This weekend was sooo much fun!

Then we drove down to rockville Malarlynd to see MORE cousins. On july 4th I went rockclimbing for the first time and it was so fun! We flew back how on the 7th of july. On the 20th of July I left for a week long camping trip. In California we drove through Avenue of the Giants and saw so many cool and beautiful redwood trees. We also went to a place called The Trees of Mystery in Klamath, California that had so many tree carvings and trees that had grown in amazing ways. One of my favorites to see was called The Lightning Tree, because it had grown in a zigzag like a lightning bolt. There was also these gigantic statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. In Tillamook, Oregon we visited the Tillamook cheese and ice cream factory. After Tillamook we drove to Bend, Oregon and spent three days doing lots of fun things. We floated in tubes down the Deschutes river, hiked to Tumalo Falls, and visited the last Blockbuster on earth. On the way home we went to Crater Lake, which was super cool but upsetting because of how smoky it was from all the fires. I also got to spend a lot of time alone this trip which was really good because sometimes it's really cool to have time for yourself and reflect. This was such a cool experience for me to learn to understand myself and the things and people around me.

The first day we got there we didn't have any plans so the day was to just chill. We went to Daytona Beach which took us about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Orlando. We were there around 5 hours or so. Then after Daytona Beach, we went to NASA (the main one where they launch the rockets). The next day we went to Magic Kingdom which is one of the parks for Disney World. We got on all the rides and it was really hot so we got a really good strawberry smoothie. We went the week were the fireworks opened, they were closed because of covid. So it was really cool they had 3D images on the castle and the show was at night so you can see everything. The next day we went to Animal Kingdom which is another park. The rides were really good. My favorite was either Pandora or Mount Everest expedition because it was really tall and you also went backwards. When we got into Pandora it was normal and everything was sunny. But we waited around 3 hours in line to do the ride at night which is the best time of the day to do it. When we came out of the ride there was a surprise, it started pouring with thunder out of nowhere. It is normal for it to rain in Florida daily but not that much. Then everyone left so we went to Disney Springs after the rain calmed down a bit to eat. On the third day, we drove to Key West and got there around 3 pm. When we got there we reserved a hotel in front of the beach so we settled in and then we went to walk downtown and ate Cuban food. That lasted till 10 pm. On the fourth day we went to go visit the Southernmost Point. Supposedlly you can see Cuba from there, but we weren't able to because it is 90 miles and that is long. Then later that day we went Parasailing and it was really fun, from up there you got the breeze and the view of the whole ocean and islands. Then after we did parasailing we drove to South Beach, Miami. We got there around 8 or so and we didn't eat anything for a long time so we went to a restaurant. On the fifth day we went to Wynwood walls, which a is a tourist place to see all these paintings and designed walls which were cool. Then we went to go eat to La Industria which is a famous singer and composers resturant. After we ate we took a tour on a boat to see famous people mansions. We went to the hotel which was also in front of the beach so we got to go to the beach and after to the pool. On the sixth day after it finished raining in the morning we went to go eat breakfast then we went to the beach around 11am then we stayed their till like 2pm then we also went to the pool till 3:30pm. We went to go change bathing suits then we walked like 15 minutes to go jet skiing. It was really fun because I got to ride my own and my jet ski almost flipped over to the water. Unfortunatly, we were the last group to go jet ski so we got the sunset view, but a strangers jet ski ran out of gas and then another jet ski with a random person got stuck somewhere. My dads jet ski got overheated, luckily I was the only one who didn't have problems so I just kept riding at a consent speed of 30 to 40 mph. Believe it or no it is not that fast. Then we went to go eat at a resturant which was very delicious. I got some lamb with vegies cooked in the oven. It got late so we went to the hotel to sleep. On the seventh day we didn't really sleep because our flight was at 4 so we had to wake up at 2 to check in and everything. Then we flew to LA but the flight got delayed 3 times so we were supposed to fly at 2 but we ended up flying at 7. Hawaii was very beautiful and tropical. I really enjoyed staying at Aulani and feeling the Disney spirit. Me and my family had a blast at Hawaii and we wish we were back again. We also went to different beaches to explore at and tried different shrimp trucks and snow cones. I also enjoyed the plane ride to hawaii feeling anxious as we we’re going closer and closer. Overall Hawaii was a very fun place to go to as a family. We also went to Disneyland in June and we had a blast to be back.
