The video itself was helpful because of the numerous examples explained by the instructors. Being able to both hear and see the examples for myself were  just a few of the reasons why I chose this resource. I am now more confident with this concept of grammar.

As you remember, a clause consists of a subject and a main verb. Apart from the main verb, a clause can optionally contain other verbs (e.g., infinitives, participles, gerunds), but let’s focus on main verbs at this point. 
A main verb is directly linked to a subject, and it agrees with it in number and person. It often goes right after a subject. For example, 
                    She studies hard to succeed in class
has two verbs studies and to succeed, but only studies is the main verb because it is connected to a subject grammatically. If we change the subject from she to they, we would have to change studies into study. This is called a subject-main verb agreement. To succeed will not change because it is not the main verb and it does not have to agree with the subject.
 
In the article attached below, you will find all main verbs highlighted. 
 
As your homework last time, you were asked to find any 10 verbs, not specifically main verbs. This time, your task is to compare the 10 verbs that you identified with the ones highlighted in the attached document and create a comment addressing the following:
-       Which verbs from the list of 10 that you identified are main verbs? List at least 5 of them in a comment together with the subjects they belong to (you would have to go back to Article 1 to find subjects). 
-       If you identified fewer than 5 main verbs, just choose 5 main verbs from the attached document and list them here with the subjects they belong to.

By including that information it helped me not only identify each clause but also to be able to see how to formulate my own. Misikir's source was also informative because there were lots of examples and an interactive test.
