We also ride in empty frieght cars, and underneath cars. Sometimes we don't pay to ride in the train. This is a common way for us californians to travel. We gathered some of our belongings and children and rushed down to the cellar. It came slowly but when it was just right over our heads we knew. We were in their for hours and hours wondering how long it would last. When it felt like it had been a day we peeked out of the cellar to find no more dust. Our dad lost their jobs, and we're struggling. We want our dad to have his job back. So mommy wont have to work so hard to feed us, and keep us safe.
We have had to struggle for a very long time. We had to go to soup kitchens , because we could not aford to buy our own food. So we protest, so our dad can get his job back. We don't want to struggle anymore, having to wait in very long lines to get one potato. We want to have a normal life like most children should have. We don't want to struggle, we want to survive. I'm tired of potatoes, I want to eat more than that.
