         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have lived most of my life in the southeast United States, south Florida, and northern Alabama.&nbsp; I moved to Seattle in 2006. &nbsp;I love reading, gardening, being in nature, dancing, and crocheting.  <br><br>Active librarian since 1997.  I believe our students need to be proactive about their online presence, be digitally fluent, be evaluative (able to differentiate between hoaxes, fake news, and authoritative sources) and to be able to  participate in a myriad of ways online.  <br><br>Media Literacy: Interests are in broad outlines.  Everything is changing so teaching of skills to help with digital fluency across applications, resources types, etc.  <br><br>What should we produce? First steps could be a list of curated resources and blog posts about our challenges and successes.  <br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
