Constructivism is a theory that suggests that people learn best through being involved with the material. This develops around hands-on tasks, which allow students to experience things on their own.
In math, we learn a lot of abstract concepts. However, through this theory, working directly with the content through experiences would be the most beneficial for our students. By looking at the examples on the right side of this screen, you will gain a greater understanding of how to apply this concept of constructivism in a mathematical classroom.
