         <title>Charles Crocker</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Charles Crocker was an American railroad executive who founded the Central Pacific Railroad. Charles was born in New York and move to Iowa when he was 14. When news of fortune began to spread from California Charles led a group of forty-niner's to the Pacific coast but after two years he thought that mining was no way to make a fortune.          <description><![CDATA[<div>William A. Clark was born in Pennsylvania in 1839 and later moved to Montana where he founded his copper mill. Clark is one of the lesser known robber barons but he one also one of the wealthiest. Starting from nothing, he began to make his fortune at Deer Lodge then later moved to copper mining.He bought out silver mines and turned them into industrial-strength copper producers. Alike all of his other peers Clark only wanted the money.          <title>Andrew Carnegie</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Andrew Carnegie was born in scottland in 1835. Even though he had little education his family believed in the importance of books and learning. At the age of 13 Carnegie came to the United States with hs family. They settled in Pennsylvania. Carnegie got a job in a factory where he made $1.20 a week. Later one Carnegie developed his own business in the steel industry.          <title>Jay Cooke </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jay Cooke was born in Ohio in 1821. Cooke was named for John Jay the first Chief of Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Cooke went to local schools in Sundusky, Ohio. At the age of 14 he became a store clerk for a local shop. Once he turned 15 he moved to Missouri. Once there he took position in a wholesale business but lost his job due to the Panic of 1837 and moved back to Ohio. Once he got older He opened i his own banking firm. To begin his work He borrowed 3 million dollars from the government of Pennsylvania. After the Civil War ended  Cooke had secured more than three billion dollars for the federal government. Because of his contributions, Cooke became known as the "financier of the Civil War."</div>]]></description>

         <title>Daniel Drew</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Daniel Drew was born in the dairy country of New York. Drew had very little schooling so he wasn't able to read throughout most of his life. Drew worked on his fathers cattle ranch but his father later died which forced Daniel to enter the war of 1812 at the age of 15.In 1834 Drew entered the steamship business. </div>]]></description>
