His music got me into house music which I used to not be interested in. being Australian he seems more interesting to me than other artists making similar music because his story of success seems more achievable.

I occasionally compose my own music on FL studio however this is only for skill development and my own fun, I haven't taken these little projects too seriously or released them to the public. the music i create and listen too are similar. I've found that Dom Dolla and flume both influence me for their electronic styles while AJR are completely different with their own style that no other artist I've heard really comes close to. these three artists along with countless others have shaped the way I view music and help me to have my own personality and style when it comes to my work.

AJR have a unique style where they blend instruments that aren't usually heard together in pop music. their music can be described as eclectic art, taking inspiration from pop, classical, rock, techno and alternative they have influenced me to think outside the box when composing.

]]> 2022-02-16 22:57:06 UTC https://padlet.com/10265481/Bookmarks/wish/2052004101 Flume 10265481 https://padlet.com/10265481/Bookmarks/wish/2052011126 Flume makes a lot of 3D audio sequences within there music which is an interesting method in music composing that I like, this can involve clever panning from left to right channels. flume is able to use electronic music in such a variety of ways that his music can change genres from electronic to rock or even pop. on his own his music usually creates a chilled vibe which is nice to listen to while studying. to keep things interesting he is always reaching out to different artists to collab with, the songs he creates with other artists often branch out from his regular work which is a nice change of pace.

I was unaware of Jamie's work until researching him and after listening to some of his music it is easy to see where flume gets his style from, some of Jamie's songs could even be mistaken for a flume track but I feel as though flume has slightly better refined music and flumes use of 3d audio really takes his music to the next level.

Their uplifting and catchy melody's bring happiness to a lot of people and inspire their work. AJR takes inspiration from the beach boys, this is present in their music which from time to time will capture a similar cheerful vibe. like the beach boys, AJR is a band formed together by brothers.

Kanye's erratic behaviour makes its way into his work and music, his music is unique and goes against many common musical practices. AJR mostly draws inspiration from older bands but they have similar erratic music, the songs flow in such a way where as a listener you never know when a beat switch might be implemented or a new instrument thrown in half way through a chorus.

I've heard these guys on a number of occasions from going to nightclubs in Australia, their presents in Australia makes it easy to see why Dom Dolla would adapt his own music after listening to these guys very successful tracks.
