A popular trend during this time period was ruffled collars for both men and women alike. The popular clothing style for women were dresses, with wide "trumpet" sleeves, and bodices with a high and broad or low and square necklines. Shoulder rolls were emphasised in dresses with jewels. Lastly, in the winter, gowns with hanging sleeves often were lined with fur. Men usually wore a linen shirt with ruffles and a collar, a doublet with separate sleeves, and hose.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The two major religions of Elizabethan Era England were Catholicism and Protestantism. People practiced religion at church services, and studied God's teachings in the Bible. Beliefs and convictions in these two rival religions were very strong. These strong beliefs eventually led to the executions of many adherents to both religions.</div>]]></description>
